WrestlingNerd TopTen: Wrestlers that need to leave

Wrestlers have come and gone in WWE. Some made it to the top, some made it to the midcard, while others have had their careers faded away. Some are too old, some are too injury prone and some we just want to see leave. Today, I want to make a top-ten of superstars that are still on the roster, but for some reason or another should leave the WWE.

10) R-Truth

Ron Killings hasn't been on much, and when he is, he doesn't get much attention. R-Truth had some of the greatest moments in the last few years. With him becoming 42, he doesn't have much left. I would hate to see him leave. WWE just isn't allowing Ron Killings the mic or wrestling time anymore. This is why he gets the number 10 spot.

9) Rey Mysterio

Oscar Gutierrez has been on WWE more sporadically. Mostly due to injury-prone status, he is not looked at favorably on holding titles. Again, he is one that I would hate to see go. He draws big crowds and merchandise.  I'd like to see him put over Sin Cara now that Hunico is taking over. In the end, Rey can still fight, but for how long.

8) Yoshi Tatsu

Naofumi Yamamoto was one the highlights of the remake show ECW, at least for a short time. Today, he is a forgotten wrestler. Yoshi was a hit in Japan, and he came to WWE mainly for his Japanese background. It's quite unfortunate for us to not get to see perhaps another Tajiri. You may only see him luckily on NXT. He should probably go back to All Japan Pro Wrestling.

7) Heath Slater

Southern-fried Heath Miller is the winner of NXT 2010 was good at two things mic work and jobbing. Since he formed up with Nexus and......that is about it. The leader of 3MB had a future, lost it, then it was shortly brought back into the limelight with 3MB. The problem with him is he's too generic and his gimmick is way overused. Slater could make a good manager with his microphone skills. Other than that WWE views him as a lost cause.

6) Alicia Fox

Victoria Elizabeth Crawford was a prominent women's wrestler. She had a Divas Championship reign once. Although she can have plenty of botches, she was viewed as quite a character. Does anyone remember Jazz? She was once a great character that brought destruction and hatred into the women's division. If Alicia Fox could repackage herself as a Jazz-like character, it would be much more interesting. With the divas division in disarray and Total Divas viewed with praise, I see no other way Alicia Fox could stay in WWE. I'd like her to go to TNA where women's wrestling is much more prominent.

5) JTG

Jayson Anthony Paul was once partnered with Shad as formed team: Cryme Tyme. At the height of his career, JTG was loved and characterized as funny. Then Shad turned on him and both wrestlers became a disappearing act before your eyes only to be seen as a jobber on WWE's flagship shows. He isn't a great wrestler maybe less than decent. Either way, he isn't going anywhere in WWE with his doomed career

4) Santino Marella

Anthony Carelli, a wrestler, I think not. Once upon a time, a man came to Vince McMahon saying, "I wish to be a wrestler." Vince says, "What's your gimmick?" Santino:" I have a Russian background gimmick that was a badass." Vince: "Mmmm what else?" Santino: "Uh...I can do an Italian accent?!" Vince's eyes light up: "Great! You will be an Italian buffoon comedy act that no one can stomach." Santino: "Well you sure you don't want a gimmick that is considered exciting?" Vince: "Nope we need a comedy and you are the jester in my kingdom. Now if you would kindly pucker up and kiss my ass."

3)El Torito

Mascarita Dorada is a high flying midget wrestler. He has great moves and was nicknamed "Speedy Gonzalez." With all this, why is he on the number 3 spot? Because he has no damn reason to be here besides his acrobatic moves. Midgets, dwarfs and such are loved in wrestling especially in Mexican wrestling. Now ask yourself, where in WWE would El Torito be used? As a mascot. A beloved wrestler with some of the best acrobatics used as a mascot. How low and pathetic is that of Vince McMahon? With a resurgence of midget wrestling in the AAA, wouldn't El Torito be more happy with them?

2) Hornswoggle

Dylan Postl was never a real wrestler. That's it! Ok...take El Torito and take away his beloved acrobatic moves. At the same time, lets make him debut as a leprechaun. He does wrestle a little bit, but just like El Torito, he doesn't belong in WWE for any reason other than seeing a midget. He had some of the worst feuds, worst segements and about made Santino Marella a comedy genius. Everyone I talked to says he's the worst, but my number 1 has all the reasons to be gone.

Honorable mentions:
These guys either still have potential or used regularly:
Alex Riley
Wade Barrett
Big E
Camacho
Curt Hawkins
Curtis Axel
Big Show
Brad Maddox
Kofi Kingston
Layla

1) The Great Khali

Dalip Singh Rana debuted as bigger than anyone else. Now then he was able to secure wins and championships. He had someone else do his talking. He was a great hit in India. So what's the problem? In 2008, Khali started to become stiff and his wrestling abilities suffered. Therefore, he was taken out of any championship circuits and placed in the comedy segments. Segments like Khali's Kiss Cam and his dancing were horrifyingly dumb and overused. The worst is his kayfabe romance with Natalya and his comedy duo with Hornswoggle. In India, he is a huge hit, and WWE doesn't want to lose that audience. That is an easy remedy. Jinder Mahal is a decent wrestler that can perhaps get over with the India crowd. We can't see why he still wrestles when the likes of Chris Masters, John Morrison and MVP was future endeavored. Since Khali is suffering from Gigantism, he isn't too old to wrestle at the age of 42. However, his inability to wrestle without us cringing and his embarrassingly dumb comedy segments leave us changing the channel. The Great Khali, in my opinion, is the wrestler that needs to leave WWE.
