WrestlingNerd PPV Prediction: Elimination Chamber

Stephanie McMahon looking like an evil witch! Alakazaam

Welcome everybody to my Elimination Chamber Prediction and Match Opinion. For a PPV that is lesser, this one is very exciting for two reasons. One, the Elimination Chamber match and two, the most thrilling match on the card: The Shield vs The Wyatts. Also, the Tag Team titles and the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line. Other things that will have a huge effect are: will the part time wrestlers show off their ring rust? Will the crowd effect the PPV? The crowd is collectively looking for a change in the guard, and will let Triple H know if his show is up to their money's worth.
So for this being my first PPV post, my system goes like this: I'll have the boring matches first then off to the higher ones. I'll explain the rivalry, certain implications and factors and the percentage of chance that wrestler will win and why. Also, I'll put in my opinion on who I want to win. So as Mario says...

Kickoff show: Rhodes Brothers vs Rybaxel

With this being the kickoff show, there usually never is a rivalry. Obviously, the Rhodes Bros. are supposed to break up and fight each other at Wrestlemania, so here is the time to be looking for any dissension between them. On the other hand, Rybaxel is placed as the enhancement talent. I don't see them winning unless the Rhodes are having problems between them. This rivalry is just there for the kickoff purpose. Don't anymore into that.

Percentage of winning:
The Rhodes Bros.      70%
Rybaxel                     30%

Who I want to win is Rybaxel only for the break up between Cody and Goldust.
Who does Creative more in likely want to win: The Rhodes Bros.

Big E vs Jack Swagger for the Intercontinental Championship

Big E has been the Intercontinental Champion, but hasn't had many challengers. He had a mini-feud, but it didn't help the title's value. Since the Super Intercontinental Championship merged with the WWE Championship, the IC title needed to come back into prominence. The vast amount of title holders never gave it the shine it needed. The last two wrestlers that gave it a higher value was Cody Rhodes and Ric Flair during his last run in wrestling. Since then, it has been handed around like a shitty diaper. Each holder never had real feuds or challenges. It was like WWE helped the tag titles and forgot about the midcard titles. Now Big E has the title, and once again he holds it like a plastic belt you get from the store. At least Jack Swagger did a fatal 4-way match for the number one contender. The match holds little value for me. I see Jack Swagger winning, so he can rub it in Cesaro's face.

Percentage of Winning:
Jack Swagger             60%
Big E                          40%

I think Jack Swagger will win it to show it to Cesaro, but creative might have other plans, hence the reason the numbers are close together.

Alberto Del Rio vs Batista

This rivalry is so boring that I pray for a divas match. This rivalry got started on Twitter with there Twit war. Then Alberto Del Rio started talking trash about Batista...perro and all. Once Batista was added to the roster, Del Rio came out to Batista on his re-debut. From there, Del Rio really tried to show emotion, and tried to get people to notice him. The problem was Batista in two ways. One, he absolutely cared more about how Triple H thought about his return over the rivalry at hand. Seriously, Batista could of given a lot more effort in this rivalry. The second problem was Batista got swept up in a sea of boos, because the Daniel Bryan effect has spread throughout the arenas. To the audience, Batista took what was rightfully Daniel Bryan's. I do have to credit the creative writing in here. With Punk gone, they really have scrambled a good story with HHH and Daniel Bryan. Back to Batista/Del Rio; these two could put on a classic, but all Del Rio is to Batista is a jobber. I see two things happening and each are have two constants: Del Rio will make Batista a legitimate threat to the WWE WHC, and Batista winning. The two variables are: can Batista shake the ring rust to give a good performance, and will the WWE audience shower the match with cheers and "this is awesome" chants or are they going to boo and chant the announcers and/or "Boring." Either way the audience is going to be the reason to watch this match.

Percentage of winning:
Batista                       95%
Alberto Del Rio           5% (only because of Batista's ring rust could be dangerous and botchy)

I could careless who wins, and creative is sooooooo obviously on Batista's side.

Titus O'Neil vs Darren Young

These two were once the Prime-time Players. Titus O'Neil was the charismatic powerhouse, while Darren "Mr. No Days Off" Young was the worker of the group. They ran with Abraham Washington as a manager climbing to their first Tag Team Title reign, however Washington was release due to a multitude of remarks he made for various subjects. Thus, The Prime-Time Players were placed on the backburner. Titus O'Neil began to pick up his charisma as his character grew. Darren's character did not grow. Soon PTP was on the rise again, but failing in grabbing the gold from Team Hell No. After that, they were brought into being faces, because news of Darren Young's sexual orientation coming out. It was WWE's way of saying," Yes! We support the LGBT community." They seem to get a couple wins and escape back to obscurity. Now a few weeks ago, PTP loss another match resulting in a frustrated Titus O'Neil. He came to the conclusion that Darren Young is dead weight and the Prime-Time Players are no more. They brawl off and on; Titus is shot up in character due to his great promo performance. The sad part is this rivalry was only exclusive to the blue brand, however holds more emotion than half of the other matches on this card. I am really looking to see what Titus does and how he holds in the future. Since, Titus is the one being pushed I see him getting the win.

Percentage of Winning:
Titus O'Neil                90%
Darren Young             10%

I want Titus to keep his push, so I want Titus to win.
Creative is thinking the same thing

The Usos vs The New Age Outlaws for the Tag Team Championships

This match is a mixed bag of all kinds of reasons. The rivalry starts with the New Age Outlaws coming out of retirement back to full time employment. First they were back for the DX nostalgia or milking the DX  nostalgia to the bitter end. At the time, I  thought they were there temporarily. Once they turned on Punk, I figured they were going to add to the Authority angle. They never did and went completely heel. The nostalgia of them has worn off, but replaced with a newfound interest, much like Goldust coming back and being better than ever. These guys wrestle great and were wonderful on the microphone. Soon, they took over the Tag Team Championships by beating The Rhodes Brothers. After that feud, The Usos started to take on wins. Jimmy showed promise on commentary, Jey was wrestling better and better. The Usos are a hot team right now becoming the Hardyz 2.0. With both teams running hot, they clash at the PPV. The tag team division is really back to prominence and is welcomed to stay. Now the thing I have to question is... is WWE ready to pull the trigger on the Usos? So many times have the Usos reached this far, and never held onto gold. However, with them being over with the crowd and the NAO nostalgia worn off, are the Usos ready for the next level?

Percentage of Winning:
New Age Outlaws      50%
The Usos                   50%

I really want the Usos to win, but creative is a complete mystery.

Randy Orton vs Sheamus vs John Cena vs Cesaro vs Christian vs Daniel Bryan
Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

With this match, each wrestler plays his own part in different stories. Sheamus is coming back from an injury, and wants to become the champion to reclaim his prior position as a main eventer. However, Sheamus is the one with almost no story behind him. John Cena is the top guy in the company, and he is the glass ceiling for younger stars to break out to the next generation of main eventers. Being a young rising star, Cesaro is trying to make a name for himself and position himself as a main event guy. However, one superstar is seeing the end of his career and wants to reclaim the championship one last time. Christian is a desperate man with a new attitude. Daniel Bryan is a main event guy that is being held down by The Authority. To him, getting that gold with cement himself as the new John Cena, and he can shove it into The Authority's face. Lastly, we have the supposed  of "Face of the WWE," Randy Orton. Randy Orton is the champion, but he is on a slump against the other superstars besides Christian. His story needs him to win and go to Wrestlemania to keep his poster boy position.

Prediction on events:
Now I don't know who will start, but my guess is Daniel Bryan is one of them. No way The Authority will allow Bryan to be in a cell. I'm saying Sheamus will eliminate Christian. Sheamus is eliminated by Cesaro or John Cena. John Cena is eliminated by Cesaro. Cesaro is eliminated by Bryan. Kane or Triple H interferes costing Bryan the match and Randy Orton wins going to Wrestlemania.

Percentage of Winning:
Randy Orton               50% Since the story goes like I say with little deviances
Daniel Bryan               25% Bryan could easily take out both The Authority and Randy Orton
John Cena                  10% Because he's John Cena
Cesaro                         5% Cesaro is not ready to hold the belts
Sheamus                       5% Sheamus was only World Heavyweight Champion material
Christian                       5% Christian is Intercontinental Champion material

I want Daniel Bryan to win and have a Triple Threat match at Wrestlemania. Creative is predictable about this Randy Orton wins.

The Wyatt Family vs The Shield

The most anticipated match on the card. One problem, this shouldn't be a tag team. I would of love to see this be a ladder match, a tornado tag or a hell in a cell. Either way, no one cares who wins, because this match is just plain Awesome. The storyline was well put together. Wyatts costed The Shield their chance at the Elimination Chamber match. Then for weeks they put on promos. Bray Wyatt was easily the one to watch in the promos. He really brought the creepy atmosphere to this. The Shield were great too showing their fearless state. Of course there are cracks in The Shield, but one thing holding them together is their chance to fight the Wyatts. This isn't a match that had a ragtag team fight The Shield. This is a faction vs faction match that means WAR! I see each side winning, but going to Wrestlemania for a rematch.

Percentage of winning:
The Wyatt Family      55%
The Shield                 45%

I gave the Wyatts a higher percentage, because the cracks in The Shield. I want this to end in a disqualification, and head into Wrestlemania for a gimmick match. If one team is to win, I would like it to be The Wyatt Family. Creative is a toss up.
